National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
NECA is the voice of the industry responsible for lighting, power, and communication systems in buildings and communities across the United States. NECA advances the electrical contracting industry through advocacy, education, research, and standards development.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW)
The IBEW is a union that represents approximately 750,000 active members and retirees who work in a wide variety of fields, including utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads and government.
The Electrical Training Alliance is a joint training program between the NECA and the IBEW. The group has developed into the largest apprenticeship and training program of its kind, having trained over 350,000 apprentices to journeyman status through local affiliate programs.
ELECTRI International funds, conducts, coordinates, and monitors the industry’s most critical research. It also commissions and delivers to the industry management education and supervisory training programs.
